We don’t know if Matt Lauer is having an affair, but we do know Matt Rivers is screwing the bookmakers. Entertainment odds experts are checking out the daytime Emmy nominations 2010 and bettors are hotter than Nikki Cox.
Super baseball punter Matt Rivers says take Dodgers in the desert. They are laying the 117 at Arizona according to the sportsbooks.
Joe Torre’s Dodgers have struggled for the bulk of the season and have been very underachieving so far but with Manny back in the fold I do believe the blue are about to go on a run and prove they are still an 85 or so win team that will compete for the NL West crown.
Los Angeles has the superior hurler today in Hiroki Kuroda. The righty has been very solid in his few seasons in the bigs and should outpitch Edwin Jackson.
It is a motivating factor for Jackson to be facing an old team of his so the guy should be ready to go but it’s not like Jackson has been the same guy from that last season in Detroit where he was an All-Star. 1-4 with his era in the 7’s pretty much proves that. I’m not saying that Jackson won’t be alright because the guy has some stuff but he has been scuffling pretty much all season long and can be in a bit of trouble here against Manny, Loney, Martin, Ethier and the Dodgers in a solid hitter’s ballpark in Phoenix.
This is far from the lock of my life as the Dodgers are not trustworthy in the slightest now but the Diamondbacks are very mediocre and besides Mark Reynolds are lacking some pop so in a small play I’ll take my chances on Hiroki and the blue.
