The Lingerie Football League said on Friday it would reevaluate whether it wants to expand into Oklahoma City.

The LFL took a step back after Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett told several media outlets on Thursday that he would not allow an LFL team to play in Oklahoma City.

“Due to Mayor Cornett’s action, our executive committee is meeting internally early next week to decide the next steps,” LFL spokesman Stephon McMillen said Friday.
