Kyle Boller and Carrie Prejean

Kyle Boller and Carrie Prejean are expecting their first child, according to multiple reports Thursday.

The newly-married couple is expected to learn the sex of the child later this month, and Prejean is due to deliver in early May.

Boller is currently the third-string quarterback for the Raiders, while Prejean has stayed out of the spotlight recently.

A former Miss California, Prejean was a finalist for Miss USA in 2009.  During her campaign, she caused a stir by openly opposing gay marriage.

She was later stripped of her Miss California title after she violated terms of her contract by declining to make public appearances.

Prejean also got into hot water after topless pictures surfaced on the internet, but that was not believed to be the reason for her contract being terminated.

Meanwhile, Boller has also stayed out of the spotlight and off the field since losing his spot as the Ravens' starting quarterback.

He has appeared in only one game this season for the Raiders despite injuries to both Jason Campbell and Bruce Gradkowski.
