Frank Mir vs Mirko Cro Cop

Held on Saturday in Indianapolis (USA), UFC 119 had good fights and a final unexpected decision.
The event also marked the rise of Ryan Bader, who defeated Rogerio Nogueira in their climb to the top 5 in the light heavyweight devision.
In the main event of the night, Frank Mir and Mirko Cro Cop had a tough bout. Cro Cop was able to avoid an exchange of blows for most of the fight, but unable to break down. In the third round, however, Mir hit a knee full on his chin and Cro Cop, who fell and knocked out most was the target of a series of punches, forcing the referee to stop the dispute.
Rogerio Nogueira made a very tough fight against the champion of “TUF 8″ Ryan Bader. While defending himself from falling and hitting some good shots standing, the Brazilian finished in disadvantage for the few times he was knocked down, points needed to open the American advantage in a fight so balanced. After the three rounds, Bader won the unanimous decision.
Another Brazilian Thiago Tavares was in action. The Santa Catarina no chance Pat Audinwood, ending it with a guillotine in the first round.
