Ohio Tornado 2010

Millbury is starting to rise from the destruction that the tornadoes over the weekend left on their path. As a result of this natural disaster 7 people have lost their lives, including a 4-year-old boy and his mother.

According to the Toledo Blade:

“The seven confirmed deaths resulted from an  8-mile path of destruction in Wood County and neighboring Ottawa County. At least 30 others were injured”

It is estimated that the cost of the damages from the Ohio tornado 2010 are around $100 million. Lake High School was scheduled for Sunday but the tornado arrived first.

Besides the deaths, the tornado has destroyed buildings, cars, houses and even caused the shutdown of a nuclear plant.
