Rock The Bells 2010 Lineup

Rakim will perform Paid in Full in its entirety, the Wu will be doing Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), Boogie Down Productions with Criminal Minded, and Slick Rick will perform his debut album The Great Adventures of Slick Rick. And all this Lauryn Hill/ATCQ stuff URB was talmbout? Apparently not gonna happen. But then again, I’m getting my information from a friend who’s live and direct from the press conference in Hollywood

The 7th annual Rock The Bells 2010 festival series lineup was announced May 24th at a launch party at the Key Club in West Hollywood, California. The event, sponsored in part by MySpace, revealed the lineup for the highly anticipated annual concerts which criss-cross the United States, and often feature many of hip hop’s old and new school elite and veterans.

UPDATE: Guerilla Union later said that Lauryn Hill will not be listed on the bill, but Founder/CEO Chang Weisberg did urge fans and rumor mongers to “stay tuned.”

Anticipated performance highlights of this year’s festival series include Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine. He will take the stage with his own critically acclaimed musical project. Morello and Boots Riley, front-man emcee of The Coup, comprise the Street Sweeper Social Club. The complete list of participating artists for the tour follows below.”
