Prince of Persia Movie Review

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has a desert setting that really focused on special effects and action-packed scenes, but the movie was said to be bland or boring.

Some viewers of the movie have already seen a movie similar to this, like the “Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves”. For a lot of people, seeing movies like that are already old-looking movies and boring.

The plot of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is not that interesting because it’s simply about the dagger, sand, time, brothers, snakes, and other stuff. Also, the characters are merely archetypes: prince, princess, king, brothers, villains, comic relief. There’s not a single memorable line or piece of character development in the entire piece and the script’s vague attempts at modern war commentary are so thin that they’re useless.

It wasn’t really the production’s fault that the movie was dull, they just had to follow the storyline of the famous video game – where they based the story from.

According to some viewers, Prince of Persia is better off as a video game, not a movie to be watched. They said that when you watch the movie, you will just feel that you played Prince of Persia using an enormous cinema screen that has a gaming console plugged into it, like an XBox or a PS3.
