National Teacher Appreciation week starts this week (May 3rd - 7th) Be sure to thank the teachers in your life, and your childs life. Teachers play a major part in your childs development and thanking them for all their hard work is important.

Here are some great gifts to give teachers during National Teacher Appreciation Week. Homemade gifts: Your child can easily make their teacher a simple and easy homemade gift from the heart. Click here for great and easy crafts your child can use as a Teacher Appreciation Week craft.

Poems are another great simple and meaningful way to thank your childrens teacher during Teacher Appreciation Week. Children can write their teacher an original poem or recite a pre written poem which can be found online here.

Baking cookies or candy for the teacher is another way to easily thank them for a job well done. Put the cookies and/or candies in an inexpensive tin or basket and send them to school with your children.

Teacher Appreciation Week is not about buying an expensive gift, it's about letting an important person in your childrens lives know that you appreciate all of their hard work. Be sure to thank the teachers in your life with a small gift, card, or just a sincere Thank you!
