Celebrity Apprentice 2010 Season Finale will be on Sunday, 23rd of May at New York. The two finalists that made it to the final challenge are Bret Michaels and Holly Robinson Peete. The final challenge is a prerecorded episode which aired last night. In the final challenge, Michaels and Peete have to create a new Snapple (a famous brand of soft drink) flavor and market the product. Since rocker Bret Michaels is one of the most famous Type 1 Diabetics, together with his teammates Daryl Strawberry and Summer Sanders, they created a Diet Drink that doesn’t contain sugar while Holly Robinson Peete have Curtis Stone and Maria Kanellis and they made a Passion Fruit Drink even though it is out of season. The episode finished by featuring Holly editing the commercial her team made while Bret didn’t shoot anything.

The winner of the challenge will take home the $250,000 prize and a part of sales of the drink for their chosen charity. Michaels who had already won $140,000 in this season is competing for the American Diabetes Association and its summer camps for kids with Diabetes while Peete is competing for her charity, the HollyRod Foundation, which supports families of the seriously ill with her son who have autism as her inspiration.

Bret Michaels outlasted Sharon Osbourne, celebrity chef Curtis Stone and wrestler Maria Kanellis to be able to make it to the finals. He is hoping to return to New York for the live Season Finale after suffering a life threatening brain hemmorhage last month. He also plans to come back in the musical industry on the 28th of May, year 2010 by having a concert in Biloxi, Mississippi. He is also expected to guest in the Oprah Winfrey Show episode scheduled to air on Wednesday (19th of May, 2010).

Bret’s diabetes did not play a role in his brain hemorrhage. He is considered very lucky because only one in five typically make a full recovery from such a hemorrhage. Doctors say he is at a high risk of suffering a relapse until six months after the hemorrhage.
