Online Job Postings: Metro Detroit is the fastest-growing job recruitment market in the nation.
It was in October, anyway, with online job postings up 55% from a year ago.
Monster Worldwide, the huge online job search outfit, tells me so.
Can it really be true, though?

To be honest, I feel kind of sheepish, almost silly, reporting numbers like this. I’m not blind, I can still see the moving vans and scraggly lawns in front of foreclosed homes in my neighborhood. I know Michigan is still mired in an economic funk, with a 13% jobless rate, second-worst in the country.
