John of God: Brazilian spirit doctor John of God is the main topic of a documentary filmmaker Fergus Tigue and the documentary was featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show on Wednesday.The documentary represents the first time cameras were allowed in John of God’s workshops.
The John of God documentary was shot between 2003 and 2005 and showed the healer performing his rituals. The Oprah episode was focused on spiritual healers and showed pieces of the documentary.
The documentary shows John of God using his healing powers on men and women without using any anesthetics or disinfectants.
The Oprah special on the healing arts around the world was broadcast in the U.S. on November 17.
