A380 Engine Failure: A Qantas Airways A380 Airbus was forced to make an emergency landing, after a big gaping hole appeared in the plane’s fuselage. The plane, headed from London to Melbourne, was diverted to Manila. The flight–including 346 passengers and 19 crew members–all landed safely.
The passengers heard a bang and felt wind inside the cabin about an hour after the plane departed from its connection in Hong Kong. Oxygen masks fell from the ceiling.
