Angelina Jolie will reportedly step behind the camera as well as in front of it for a film set to begin shooting in November 2010. This weekend, the beauty took a break from her ‘Salt’ promotional duties and balanced the personal and professional – one on each lovely hip, as it were – by toting her two-year-old twins to Budapest and Bosnia to begin preparations for the upcoming movie.
Filming is expected to center in Hungary’s “Paris of the East” (Budapest) and extend to Belgrade, Serbia, as well, and Knox and Vivienne were also on hand to help their mom locate a suitable abode for the entire Brangelina brood during the production.
The film will tell the story of a Serbian soldier who rapes a Bosnian woman during the 1992-95 war in Yugoslavia. According to x17online.com, a Bosnian refugee camp visit earlier this year with life partner Brad Pitt inspired her to make the movie.
Jolie offered in a statement issued through UNHCR (the United Nations refugee agency) that “the film is a love story, not a political statement.”
