The Stand

Stephen King's "The Stand" has been airing on SyFy for the last five hours, and I got to wondering, "Where are they now?"  So here's an update on a few key players:

ROB LOWE - "NICK ANDROS": Lowe is currently starting in the Golden Globe nominated series "Brothers & Sisters."  His days with the Brat Pack in the 1980s catapulted him to stardom (along with "The Stand" co-star Molly Ringwald).

GARY SINISE - "STU REDMAN": Sinise has taken up residence as Detective Mac Taylor on "CSI: New York."  He was nominated for an Oscar for his role in "Forrest Gump" the same year he starred in "The Stand."

MOLLY RINGWALD - "FRANNIE GOLDSMITH": Ringwald was perhaps the most recognizable of the Brat Pack, but her career fell of in the late 1990s.  She's back starring in "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" as the mother of a teen mom.

JAMEY SHERIDAN - "RANDALL FLAGG": Like Sinise, Sheridan went on to become a detective on network TV.  He spent five years on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and is now on NBC's "Trauma."

RUBY DEE - "MOTHER ABIGAIL"
: Ruby Dee has been in the business for over sixty years.  She recently appeared in "American Gangster" and "Dream Street" with Tyson Beckford.
