Sinkhole In Guatemala 2010

Have you seen the photos?  A giant sinkhole formed in a city in Guatemala.

The image looks like a bottomless pit in the middle of a populated area of Guatemala City.  It formed Sunday after tropical storm Agatha passed through the area.

The hole swallowed a three story building.

The storm came ashore from the Pacific Ocean.  It was only a tropical storm for a short period of time but drenched the South American country.

The government initially blamed the heavy rains for the crater but now say they will be conducting further studies to determine the cause.

More than 100 people were reported killed in the storm.  It's not known if anyone was killed in the building that vanished in the hole.
