Lost Finale Explained

In between, fans were treated to an iconic TV series that was discussed online (and in offices, chat rooms, bars…) more than any in history. The same will likely be said for this week’s series finale, in which all the castways came together in an unexpected location… and let the light shine down on them all.

In honor of tonight’s finale of LOST, something that many fans have been waiting six full years to see, we have decided to open up a discussion thread in our comments section below. Over the next several hours, questions will be answered. More questions will probably be asked. And in the end, we will all be left in a world without one of the most compelling shows in the history of television

The pieces are in place for the final showdown.  Jack took over Jacob’s role as protector of the Island while the Man in Black plans on using Desmond to destroy it.  In the alternate universe, things are unraveling as characters being brought together and becoming aware of the fact that there is another world.

After Lost ends, the cast will be appearing on a special Jimmy Kimmel Live titled “Aloha to Lost.” Throughout the week, advertisements of the show have been stating that Kimmel will also be presenting three unused alternate endings for the series. It will be a long night for Lost fans,
