Lakers vs Suns Score - The Phoenix Suns were off to a great start in Monday night’s NBA West Finals Game, against the Los Angeles Lakers. Two minutes in, and a 7-0 lead, Suns fans were surely optimistic that tonight was going to be their night. However, by the end of that 1st quarter, Phoenix was already taking a backseat to the Lakers’ 35-26. From there on out, the Suns failed to regain the lead, and the end result was L.A. winning at home, 128-107.
As usual, Kobe Bryant showed up to do work, and made certain to contribute a third of the Lakers’ total score with 40 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom contributed a combined 40 points of their own, assisting Bryant to take the victory home. This was only Game 1 of the West Finals, and the Suns still have a shot a dethroning the Lakers as the reigning champs. For a full recap and play-by-play of tonight’s game
