Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo, "The Fifth of May," marks the anniversary of the Battle of Pueblo in which Mexico defeated a French army twice its size in 1863. Widely celebrated in south of the border, the holiday has become a day for partying in the US and other countries.

You can drink a toast to Mexican history by recreating festive cocktails and mock-tails mixed up by Peter Vestinos, Beverage Development Director of the Wirtz Beverage Group in Chicago. Peter has created a few Cinco de Mayo inspired drinks from the traditional margarita to a virgin Mojito to help us celebrate. And, you can keep these refreshing crowd-pleasing drinks in mind when throwing any party this spring or summer.
