Cabrillo College is a coeducational, community college located in Aptos, California, United States. It was established in 1959 and named after the famous explorer Juan Cabrillo.
Some of the departments of the College are as follows:

* Art Department
* Theatre Arts Department

The atheltic teams of Cabrillo College are called the Seahawks. The official mascot is the seahawk. The College sponsors baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, diving & water polo, tennis, and volleyball.

Notable alumni of Cabrillo College include Brendan Ayanbadejo, linebacker for the Chicago Bears of the NFL; Camryn Manheim, Emmy Award-winning actress for The Practice; Sherman Cocroft, former defensive back for the Kansas City Chiefs; and Ward Bushee, editor of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Cabrillo College is a two-year college offering associate degrees and certificates in more than 70 fields of study such as: engineering, computer science, allied health (nursing, radiologic technology, dental hygiene, medical assistant), public safety, marine biology and the visual and performing arts. The college itself is named after the explorer Juan Cabrillo, Its main campus is located in Aptos, California and is situated overlooking the Monterey Bay. It is one of 110 public community colleges in the state of California. The college opened in 1959. Cabrillo College currently has an enrollment of more than 17,000 students. As is true with most community colleges, the vast majority of its students attend part-time. As of spring 2009, the college is experiencing record enrollment—so much so that classes are at 95% capacity.
