Coathanger is an exhibition of drawings and paintings by Alan Osborne and Richard Davies at Llanover Hall Arts Centre, Romilly Road, Canton from Monday to Wednesday.

Remember Remember the 5th of November: Today is the 5th of November and today is Guy Fawkes day. This post is for my friends in the UK. D. V. and everyone else….
so the 1600s, my UK family was still in the UK… nice. I wonder what they were thinking when this happened.
Guy Fawkes (13 April 1570 – 31 January 1606), also known as Guido Fawkes, the name he adopted while fighting for the Spanish in the Low Countries, the had belonged to a group of Roman Catholic restorationists from England who planned the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. Their aim was to displace Protestant rule by blowing up the Houses of Parliament while King James I and the entire Protestant, and even most of the Catholic, aristocracy and nobility were inside. The conspirators saw this as a necessary reaction to the systematic discrimination against English Catholics.
