Paul Millsap: The Jazz were able to come from 22 points down to draw within two points with seven minutes left in the game. Shortly after, they tied it on a three from Ronnie Price. The lid came off the basket for Utah, and they made it a game early in the fourth. All of the statistics turned around for the Jazz at the end. They climbed back into the rebounds column to finish with 44 and surpassed the Heat in shooting percentage (48 percent-44 percent). But when you have Dwayne Wade on your team, you’re never really in trouble.

Partway through the fourth, Heat forward James Jones was fouled hard by Ronnie Price and it was ruled a flagrant one when Jones hit the deck hard. Chris Webber, of NBATV, disagreed with the call, noting the severe size difference between the two players. Ah well, the refs were just doing their jobs.

Washington Wizards

Tonight the Washington Wizards landed the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft lottery.

After going 26-56 this season and losing a tiebreaker with the Golden State Warriors, the Wizards had the fifth-best chance (10.3 percent) of getting the No. 1 overall pick, which is expected to be either Kentucky point guard John Wall or Ohio State forward Evan Turner. They could have picked no worse than eighth overall.

The New Jersey Nets, who finished with the league's worst record (12-70), had a 25 percent chance of landing the top choice and ended up with the No. 3 pick.
