Marvin Sapp Wife Dies

Marvin Sapp has lost his wife and best friend, MaLinda Sapp to colon cancer. Supporters from all around the world have expressed their condolenses to Marvin Sapp and his family via their offical facebook page.  Marvin Sapp was the pastor at Lighthouse Full Life Center Church where his wife was co-Pastor alongside him.  Story continues on the other side.

Dr MaLinda Sapp was a professional counselor, served as a manager for Marvin Sapp and had Executive Producer credits on many of his audio and video recordings.

The church and The official Marvin Sapp Facebook page had posted a message on its website asking for prayers for MaLinda Sapp.

Marvin and MaLinda were happily married for 15 years and have three children.

Marvin Sapp is one of gospel music's most popular stars. His 2008 song "Never Would Have Made It" set records for its duration on the charts, and he recently had a No. 1 hit on Billboard's gospel charts with the song "The Best in Me."

Marvin Sapp:Wife gospel singer Marvin Sapp to Malinda, unfortunately, died today after losing the battle against colon cancer. 92,1 Glory Houston first broke the sad story and issued a statement saying the following:
“It is in our deepest sympathy that we inform you that the wife of Pastor Marvin Sapp at Malinda Sapp delivered today, after fighting colon cancer.

This was confirmed by Lonnie Williams show today. The official press release was issued, but more details will come at the Yolanda Adams Morning show tomorrow morning!

Earlier this year, Marvin Sapp testified about how his wife, Malinda, received a clean bill of health after doctors diagnose Stage 4 colon cancer in 2009. But then surfaced health and Marvin Sapp requested an intense, non-stop prayer. ”

Marvin Sapp became popular as part of the group in operation and is best remembered for his gospel hits “Never would have made it” and “Best Me”.
