CMA Awards Winners 2010!

CMA Award 2010 winners are available, and the list of winners is full of some surprises, and some not so big surprises. Miranda Lambert is among the CMA Awards 2010 winners, although she failed to snatch the much coveted Entertainer of the Year award.

Brad Paisley won that honor. He offered a tearful acceptance speech and you can tell that he was touched by winning the award.

Last night's ceremony included appearances by Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, the Zac Brown Band, Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, Loretta Lynn, and Kid Rock. Vince Gill stood alongside Gwyneth Paltrow as she sang "Country Strong" which is from her movie by the same title. She rocked!

Miranda Lambert is the female entertainer of the year, Blake Shelton is the male entertainer of the year, and Lady Antebellum was the group of the year. Miranda Lambert had the album of the year, but perhaps most impressive of all she was presented her award by Loretta Lynn.

CMA Awards 2010: NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CBS/AP) Lady Antebellum earned the first award of the night at the 2010 CMA Awards.

The trio won the Single of the Year category for their hit “Need You Now.” It was followed by the Song of the Year award, which went to Miranda Lambert’s “The House That Built Me.”

The evening kicked off Wednesday night with a performance by Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley, who may finally earn the award show’s top honor, Entertainer of the Year.

Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney and the Zac Brown Band will play nine stadium concerts together in 2011 as part of Chesney’s Goin’ Coastal tour. The announcement was made Thursday (Nov.4).
Billy Currington will perform at all nine shows. Uncle Kracker, who sang with Chesney on the No. 1 hit “When The Sun Goes Down,” will open the concerts, except for an Aug. 27 date near Boston.
